How You Can Help BYM

The Blessing Youth Mission was founded in 1971 with a vision to work for Revival among the youth and Evangelism through the youth. It was started as a Campus ministry in Tamilnadu and it has now grown into a cross-cultural missionary organisation working in the States of Rajasthan, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Orissa, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamilnadu through 260 fulltime missionaries and hundreds of outreach teams. The headquarters office is in Vellore, Tamilnadu. The Mission publishes books and a periodical titled Blessing in 10 languages namely English, Hindi, Assamese, Gujarathi, Oriya, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil. The activities of BYM include Camps and Rallies for students, Revival Retreats, Bible Study Seminars, Discipleship and Leadership Training Programmes, Outreach in Villages and Tribal Areas, Medical & Relief Works, Homes and Schools for Tribal Children, and Church Planting in virgin soils. Over 80% of the Mission’s financial support is received from Indian Christians. The position is inter-denominational.

We invite you to consider to help in one or more of the areas mentioned below for the expansion of the Kingdom of God.

• Form a Missionary Prayer Cell with a couple of committed Christians to gather weekly for an hour of prayer to intercede for the missionary prayer requests of BYM published in the Blessing Magazine.

• If you are a graduate or a teacher, help in the campus ministry of our students wing, Students For Jesus (SFJ). Please write for guidance.

• Organize with about six believers a local Outreach Team to systematically reach the villages around your place in your Taluk through open-air preaching, house-to-house visitation, tract distribution, etc., during weekends. We call men teams as Nehemiah Teams and women teams as Deborah Teams. Please send us your outreach news regularly for prayer.

• If you are desirous of conducting Youth Rallies, Revival Meetings, Missionary Conventions for your church or all the churches in your town, kindly contact us.

• Commit yourself to contribute a sum regularly every month towards the growing needs of this Mission.

• Introduce this ministry to your Christian friends and encourage them also to support it. Ask for details regarding Sponsor-A-Missionary, Adopt-A-Field, Support-A-Missionary-Child, and such schemes. You yourself can collect offerings from your friends each month and forward to us. We will supply you Receipt books.

• Enroll subscribers for the Blessing Magazine and sell the Blessing Books. We will put you in touch with the respective Branch offices for your literature needs in the vernacular languages.
